Burns started her career in television in 1995, playing the lead character Peg in the Spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns was on the Baywatch cast in 1998. Later, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii's second Baywatch: Hawaii version until her pregnancy made her leave the series. Brooke Elizabeth Burns, an American fitness model and actress as well as a tv persona, is most well-known by the name Jessie Owens from the drama Baywatch. The role she played on Shallow Hal, a commercially popular 2001 film, was what made her famous.
